Bulkhead Unions • Both PEEK™ polymer and stainless steel versions available • Full assemblies ship complete with a steel washer and nut • PEEK versions offer three different inner threaded port configurations • Stainless steel versions offer two different inner threaded port configurations • Facilitate making a tubing connection through an instrument panel Upchurch Scientific® Bulkhead Unions are available to help facilitate making tubing connections through instrument panels or other flat surfaces. For 10-32 coned connections, choose from one of the following options: P-440 PEEK Bulkhead Union – features a .020" thru-hole for a good balance between low internal volume and little-to-no fluid resistance (at typical flow rates); external threads are 3/8-24; no fittings are included – we recommend using any of our standard Fingertight fittings with these items U-439 Stainless Steel Bulkhead Union – features a .052" thru-hole that helps ensure virtually no resistance to even very high fluid flow rates; external threads are 5/16-24; utilizes standard U-400 and U-401 stainless steel fittings for 1/16" OD tubing (included with the assembly) U-440 Stainless Steel Bulkhead Union – features a .020" thru-hole for a good balance between low internal volume and little-to-no fluid resistance (at typical flow rates); external threads are 5/16-24; utilizes standard U-400 and U-401 stainless steel fittings for 1/16" OD tubing (included with the assembly) U-441 Stainless Steel Bulkhead Union – features a .010" thru-hole, an ideal choice for instances where flow path volume must be kept low; external threads are 5/16-24; utilizes standard U-400 and U-401 stainless steel fittings for 1/16" OD tubing (included with the assembly) U-421 Inverted Stainless Steel Bulkhead Union – features a 10-32 externally-threaded shaft on both sides of the bulkhead mount; offers a .052" thru-hole for higher-flow applications; utilizes internally-threaded U-416 nuts and standard U-401 ferrules (included with the assembly) P-441 PEEK Bulkhead Union – features a .040" thru-hole, suitable for use with up to 1/8" OD tubing and with most inner diameters; external threads are 3/8-24; no fittings are included – we recommend using any of our ¼-28 threaded Flangeless fittings or any of our ¼-28 threaded Super Flangeless™ fittings to connect tubing to this union; also available in other colors (beige and black) U-453 Stainless Steel Bulkhead Union – features a .040" thru-hole, suitable for use with up to 1/8" OD tubing and with most inner diameters; external threads are 3/8-24; no fittings are included – we recommend using any of our ¼-28 threaded Flangeless fittings or any of our ¼-28 threaded Super Flangeless™ fittings to connect tubing to this union All Upchurch Scientific® Bulkhead Unions ship complete with a steel washer and nut, ready for immediate use.
